Flight Training

Now that you know our rules and how to track your flights [See VAFS3 Help PDF], it’s time to plan one properly. Here at American Virtual, we promote realism and we have all the resources you’ll need to plan your flight the correct and realistic way.

1. Sim routes
Begin by using sim routes to make a flight plan. Enter your departure and arrival airport in the home page, then click which route you wish to fly. A map will be displayed as well as text, displaying your route, VOR’s, airways and, intersections. You can download the route by switching the dropdown bar on the simroutes page and changing it from B767 to FSX, click download and place in my documents/flight simulator x files. From there you can load your route in the FSX flight planner.

2. Other Resources
Many resources are out there on the internet. We have the best ones for you right here on this page.
